Hawkwoman Vs. Ego: The Living Planet

It sounds like we will be getting the Kendra Saunders version of Hawkgirl in Superman: Legacy, played by Isabela Merced.  Still, I hope there will be some reference to Shayera Thal.  Will the reincarnation aspects of her story be told here, or is that something we will have to wait for future appearances to see?  Only time will tell.

I’ve always liked Hawkwoman more than Hawkgirl as a character so thanks for giving her some cover space. Nice job. By the way, how about a Hyperion/Darkseid battle. Keep up the great work.

This would be an interesting confrontation, indeed, Ross. But, Hawkwoman's mental question is a valid one. Why would Hawkman go there? Did one of Krypton's handful of survivors crash-land on the Living Planet as a child? Are we perhaps looking at a potential sequel involving the Rossverse debut of...

From the looks of it, I think Hawkman must've come here to trim Ego's equator! Those handlebars are way too bushy.

The Truman/Ostrander "Hawkworld" with space cop Katar & Shayera Hawkman & Hawkwoman is superior to the subsequent Carter & Sheira/Kendra reincarnated Hawkman & Hawkgirl.

Fight me.

My favorite Ego story is still the Marvel Adventures: The Avengers story where Ego tries to hit on Earth until he sees all the people and runs off like she has lice.

I'm still hoping for a "turf" war between Ego and Yggardis (the sentient planet that was a charter member of the Forgotten Villains as revealed in "DC COMICS PRESENT...#78").

Once upon a time, Kendra was the reincarnation of Shiera Sanders Hall, not Shayera Thal. But I know things work different in the STF-universe ... and it seems these days in the DC Universe, too! :)

I came in with the Brave & the Bold space cops that had great alien tech and the ability to talk to winged beings. In the sixties they talked how Thanagar had electronic payments for everything instead of carrying cash. They also had a very strong marriage. That has been a prime target when they were temporarily brought back.
DC preferred Kendra?? And it's been like that with everything else too. Even Thanagar was remade into a planet that made slaves of conquered planets. That was how they kept daily costs down. What a waste.

DC gives new meaning to the phrase "waste management," Tobor. They
have managed to waste everything their Golden and Silver Age predecessors more credibly built up since COIE #12.
