There has been some talk of a Static movie in the works, and I thought that possibly it would have been announced as part of James Gunn's DC plans. Static has crossed over with the DCU in the comics and in the animated shows as well, so I thought that maybe there was a chance. It looks like the Milestone characters will get their own cinematic universe. Let's hope they get started soon, it's getting crowded out there!

Sounds good so far.
Oh, how about Taskmaster vs the Joker?
How about Taskmaster vs Ambush Bug? Try to imagine how TM would ever be able to adopt Irwin's 'fighting' style?
"Can Static short-out the bus' electrical system before DD is road pizza? Will Static ever meet a superhero of Marvel's Ultraverse? Will the Taskmaster ever get butt-whupped by the Inferior Five? See Ross get pestered by this and other inane requests over the next twelve or more hours!" ---Carycomic ;-)
Taskmaster's the real figure of interest on today's cover. I'm personally intrigued by the MCU's Taskmaster among the Thunderbolts, along with Red Guardian and the new Black Widow. It's interesting that three Russian operatives (three and a half, counting Winter Soldier) would be part of a group led by the CIA Director Valentina de Fontaine, under the direct auspices of the US President Thaddeus Ross.
(For those unaware, the team is rounded out by US Agent and Ghost. There had been some anticipation that Abomination would be a part of the team, but he seems to be safe in Kamar-Taj, where Val and Ross can't get to him.)
I also endorse both of the suggestions give above for featuring Taskmaster. It might also be interesting to show him keeping Martian Manhunter on the proverbial ropes, quickly adapting to everything J'Onn throws at him.
Hey Ross Feb. 21 is Mardi Gras Can you do a cover with Swamp Thing , Gambit , Photon, & Shadowman ?
@Bob Greenwade: Taskmaster vs. Midnighter might be more fitting. As I understand it, that Wild & Stormy guy can read body language just as accurately as Cassie Cain!
Failing that, I'd settle for modern Daredevil and his Golden Age namesake teaming up with Wildcat.
