Did you guess the correct Legionnaire to accompany The Black Knight back to his era from yesterday's cover? Who better to locate an important lost artifact than one of the 31st Century's best trackers?
Marvel laid the seeds for The Black Knight in Eternals. Let's hope we won't have to wait years before we see Dan Whitman on the big screen again, so that he can fully embrace his heroic destiny.

yup i did and left a note on my choice, except i had thought it would be the Holy Grail not Excalibur
Nice work Simon, you and Dave Anderson got it!
Nice job on putting it together. Now, if we could get DC to think about bringing back some of the original universes.
Good job, Simon. :-)
@Tobor: didn't DC already accomplish that? Weren't all the previous multiverses restored as part of some bigger, more inclusive metaverse, post-Doomwatch (or whatever that JLA/Watchmen crossover was called)?
I think the next time we'll see the Black Knight will be in Blade, late next year. That's the latest I'd expect to see him, and I don't really see any projects in Phase Five between now and then where he'd fit. And I don't think it'll be any further than the second MCU Blade film before we see the assembled Midnight Sons.
A-ha! So, it's Merlin who sent Sir Percy of Scandia to the 31st Century. Makes sense, given his Benjamin Button-like reverse aging.
@Anon 7:36, at this point, i really don't know for sure. Things have been moved and "restored", but in a hap hazard way. Example: Current Superman and Lois and future Superman are the family from a different Earth. They were seen in Convergence and Lois gave birth to their son in that displaced Bat-Cave. Dr Manhattan has changed their past so they don't remember where they originally came from and the Earth population has had their memories changed as well thinking they were always there.
Good luck on everything else. :(
Can someone explain to me how Merlin & the Black Knight can find Dawnstar in the complicated future (with all of those discovered planets & their different eras) but can't find Excalibur in a simpler time on a single planet?
Think a magic spell that bends magic around the "wanted sword in hiding" so that conventional magic gets rerouted. Results: no magical radar blip.
Since the future and Dawnstar don't have anything interfering with those as targets, the magic was able to pinpoint them.
Similar to how some Jedi can block themselves from detection via the Force. Hence, the relative handful that managed to survive the post-Clone War Purge led by Vader.---Carycomic
