Supergirl and Captain Marvel in: "Bring Your Pet To Work Day!"

This marks the 10th adventure of The Danvers Twins on this blog, and I thought that it was high time they brought along a couple of their faithful companions.  I'm curious about the DC's League of Super-Pets movie featuring Krypto, Ace the Bat-Hound and others.  The animation from the quick teaser looked cool and I like the voice cast.  I'm sure it's geared towards kids, but I'm a sucker for animal movies.  I'm guessing we'll get a full trailer at the upcoming DC Fandome event.

Uh, oh! Krypto is eyeing the flerken. Methinks there'll soon be a beastial brouhaha...

I guess Kryptonian dogs are natural flerkin chasers.

I think this is also Chewie's debut on the blog (it's hard to tell; he isn't tagged!). I hope it isn't the last time we see him here, either; if nothing else, it'd seem fitting to see him teamed with his namesake Wookie.

I also hope we haven't seen the last of Goose, his MCU counterpart.

Nice, but Supergirls pet isn't Krypto, it's Streaky the Supercat

Flerkin vs. Streaky? Talk about the catfight to end all catfights!

I wonder if Catwoman would have an instant rapport with that flerkin?

Burnsteel is quite correct. Plus, Chewie and Streaky would be a great pairing all by themselves!

This gave me an idea how about a team up of Superman's two girlfriends Lois Lane and Mary Jane Watson

@Unknown: Don't you mean Lana Lang? MJW is Peter Parker's significant other!

In the short-lived Amalgam Comics, it was Mary Jane Lang (the Insect Queen) who was the girlfriend of Pete "Spider-Boy" Ross.

Ross, have you done this family pair yet, Beast boy and Wolverine ?

Yes there is a Changeling/Wolverine cover on here.

Great!

A thought occurs to me: Could Changeling copy Krypto? And could Animal Man copy Krypto's powers? (I think that Vixen is more clearly limited to copying the power of Terran species.)

@Simreeve: Animal Man once copied an octopus' ability to emit a cloud of smoky black ink. So, temporarily gaining Krypto's powers is not inconceivable.

I know that in '52' he was upgraded (by the same aliens who'd originally empowered him) to be able to copy extraterrestrial animals, without even being on the same planet as them -- but I wasn't sure about the situation in current continuity.

The octopus imitation occurred in a pre-Crisis two-parter in the original SUPERMAN FAMILY series. The one that introduced the Forgotten Villains.
