Katana and Blade

I realize that pretty much every Marvel movie has been pushed back a year, but its still strange that we have not heard anything about where or when Blade will appear it the MCU.  It seems like the announcement of Mahershala Ali in the role was made ages ago.  No sign of the character appearing in any of the Movies or Disney+ series for the next couple of years, though.  He's too cool of a character to keep under wraps, hopefully we will hear more about Marvel's plans for him soon.

"Dracula's ashes!" Ah, how well I remember the Hammer Films where those were the essential plot device for the Cockney-speaking Transylvanians to get in trouble over.

Thanks for this modern take on one of my many "guilty" nostalgic pleasures, Ross. :-)

Nice one! How about a Blade / Blue Devil team-up?

Or, failing that, Blue Devil and Hellboy!

@my namesake: Or, even better, BD & Vampirella!

These two are the perfect pair for taking on this task. We're left to wonder only who wants to resurrect Dracula!

As to Blade in the MCU, I wish I'd heard something that you hadn't, but alas, no such luck.

And as an aside, I'm coming at you here from Washington State Summer Con, where the presence of certain celeb guests have me wishing I could find Darth Maul, Bo-Katan, or the Armorer on the blog here -- perhaps even Bo-Katan with Starbuck for a Katee Sackhoff double cover (photo or otherwise)!

What would you say to a little whimsy? Kolchak finds Yoda.

@Bob: maybe it's that Chinese vampire queen, Jade. I'd still love to see some kind of crossover featuring her vs. Shi and Vampirella. If not from the real-world publishers of same, then at some point right here.

@Tobor: I second that emotion. :-)

@Cary: Cool idea! I'd never heard of that character before, but she does look like a good choice. It might also be interesting to see a cover here with her being faced down by the daughter of the original Green Lantern.
