Merry Christmas! I'd like to take this time to thank all of the visitors to this blog for regularly checking out the covers and offering up your comments, suggestions and encouragement. It's great to read the daily feedback and discussions that ensue both here on the blog and on the Facebook Fan Page and Twitter feed. I may not respond to every suggestion (mainly because the answer is always the same - "Maybe, if I can find the right concept and images"), but I do read and appreciate them all. The biggest thank you goes out to the Patrons of this Blog, your support has helped it to continue. Next year it will hit its 10th Anniversary, and you have helped it get to this point. I hope that everyone is surrounded by their loved ones today and your holidays are filled with joy. Here's looking forward to 2020!

Here here! and a happier new year!
Thank you and Merry Christmas!! The Disney Christmas covers were always fun, and some of the Superman and Batman Golden Age covers are fun to see! Glad at Christmas Daffy Duck isn't hatching another scheme for money or fame and getting into the Christmas spirit!

© Colorado Springs Police Department Colorado man robbed bank, immediately threw cash in air yelling 'Merry Christmas'
An eyewitness told KKTV that the man, identified by police as 65-year-old David Oliver, left the bank, threw money into the air, shouted the holiday wishes, then went to a nearby Starbucks where he sat down and waited to be arrested.
Police said Oliver was arrested without conflict and no weapon was found on his person, though the suspect had reportedly claimed to have a weapon while robbing the nearby Academy Bank.
Colorado Springs police Sgt. Jim Jeffocat, did not confirm to The Denver Post that money was thrown into the air or that the man yelled "Merry Christmas."
The amount of money stolen remains undisclosed, but Jeffocat told reporters that thousands of dollars remain missing.
Witnesses say people walking down the street picked up money and returned it to the bank.
How's that for a Christmas story? People returned the money to the bank. Guess some of them have their Bugs out and aren't so Daffy after all.
Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. I hope that, no matter how you spend this day, you will all have pleasant memories of today in Christmases to come. My wife, daughter, granddaughter and I will be spending the day with my mom eating a good meal and probably watching some basketball. But may we all remember the real reason for Christmas. His very Name is in the name of the holiday.
Thank you! And Merry Christmas to all!
Merry Christmas, Ross, and a Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas, and thank you, thank you! You brighten my day, every day. Such a joy to start each morning before school begins to see your great creations!
I really do enjoy seeing your posts every day. Here’s to a great 2020!
I checked the Christmas tag to be sure, Ross, and it's true: this is your best Christmas cover yet! The only way to tell that this wasn't drawn to order is the lack of a shadow under Daffy to match the one under Gyro.
I look forward to seeing your 2020 vision* and what you do for the 10th anniversary issue, for #3000 (and other 100s), and with the ongoing cross-company partnerships you've established.
And to everyone, a very happy Christmas! God bless you all!

Oh, Mr. Magoo... how I'd love to see him in here somewhere. Maybe he can be the focus of another Daredevil/Doctor Mid-Nite team-up. Or he can get a new dog, in the form of Buttons (from Animaniacs). Or next Christmas, something from his version of "A Christmas Carol" (maybe with the three ghosts represented by superheroes such as the original Ghost Rider, Deadman, and Phantom Girl).
Merry Xmas, Ross! Your covers, during the Holidays, are always refreshing and amusing.
Maybe next year, Santa, Frosty, and Rudolph can meet Jules Bass' brother...Sammy The Singer!
H😁 ppiest of times and increased health for all. Ross you've been in business longer than a lot of comic companies have been in your ten years. Congratulations on feeding the world humor and appreciated superheroes with a side dish of bad puns.
But remember, in 2021, whenever you look back in the past, hindsight will be 2020.
(thank you and goodnight)
Happy Happy Joy Joy to all!
Speaking of Ren and Stimpy, have they ever shown up here? I could see some zaniness with Deadpool, Legion of Super-Pets, Calvin & Hobbs, etc.
Merry Christmas. Looking forward to the next ten years.
No doubt about it, you gotta get a new hat. Ross, you've covered a lot of good ground but you still have untouched territory. Are you familiar with Gerry Anderson - Fireball XL 5, Thunderbirds or Captain Scarlet? These days of Christmas miracles are here. and you can widen your scope. Let your imagination run wild. Why? you ask.
Because for the next 1000 years you're in The Roaring Twenties!
Nine hundred eighty, actually. But, who's counting?
"Little Cindy-Lou Who, who was no more than two."
Maybe you can revisit this pair in the future with the addition of Howard the Duck, using the title "Duck, Duck, Goose!" 😉😁
Let me guess: Scrooge McDuck tried to usurp Xmas while under the control of Mr. Mind.
But, even if I'm wrong, I'm sure I won't be disputed if I wish you and yours a well-deserved Merry Christmas, Ross. :-)
@Bigby65 I am so glad you didn't suggest using Daffy as a blanket for that future cover. I wouldn't have wanted to read an end of the year story titled DUCK FOR COVER.
In Sweden, there's a tradition of watching Donald Duck cartoons on Christmas Eve. This must be a marathon that lasts until Boxing Day.
Have happy holidays.
Bigby, nice pun, but Gyro Gearloose is a chicken. Perhaps you are thinking of Donald’s cousin Gus Goose.
@Michael Jones: In Canada and the UK, Boxing Day is when employers hand out gifts to those employees who had to work on Xmas Day proper. Here, in the USA, it refers to the fist fights that break out at the exchange counter!
Btw; do robots have some kind of preprogrammed phobia towards buses, crosswalks and traffic lights?
Second a Magoo/Daredevil teamup. "The Blind Leading the Blind".
OMG! That chimney!! It has two eyes and a nose!!!
Run for your life, Daffy!!!! You're standing on the roof of the renegade residence known as...THE HOUSE OF SHADOWS!!!!!
Cary, those irritating "I'm not a robot" things can be educational. It taught my family that those pedestrian crossing are called "crosswalks" in the USA. Never knew that before. Here in Australia, they are "zebra crossings".
Fun fact: in some parts of Southern Africa, traffic lights are called "robots," originally "robot policemen".
Emsley, and the fsharp bell
@Man Down Under: shhh! Not so loud.
Magnus the Robot Fighter might hear you! ;-)
P.S.---so where was the zebra in this crossing? ;-D
Come to think of it: how about Batman meeting up with MTRF?
@Cary: Ross already did that one, nine yearS ago, during his "TB&TB: TLI" days. But, I'll concede that makes a sequel team-up, way overdue!
