This is a pairing that I am surprised I never got to in my B&B: The Lost Issues days. I definitely think that these two would go well together in comics or film. It would also be fun to see Alfred interacting with Giles as well, I'm sure they would enjoy venting to one another about their often stubborn partners.

This would be an awesome team-up like Batman/The Shadow or Batman/TMNT...it's a shame that there's now way to use time travel so that Batman '66 Meets Buffy...Ha! ;)
How about Buffy ... meets Sailor Moon.
How about a meeting of the "Super Hero Caretakers" support group, where Alfred, Jarvis, Giles, Q (from Bond, not Trek), Diggle, Microchip, et. al. trade reciepes, gadget specs, medical techniques, blueprints, etc.?
I know you hear this a lot, but I'd like to read this comic. I'd prefer it if it was set in Buffy's High School Days.
Here's an idea Blade vs. Skinner Sweet from American Vampire!
I'm surprised you didn't save this one for Halloween. Maybe even team them up with Andrew Bennett! I can just see the title, now.
"Batman, Buffy, and I...Vampire: Red Moon Over Sunnydale."
I could almost see this as a TV crossover if they had actually had a live action Batman show on TV besides that starring Adam West and Burt Ward. Not that the West/Ward version was bad, just that it would, in my opinion, be too cheesy for such a pairing. But if Batman was done in the same way as the CW shows, it could work.
I'd think there would be a moment where she tries to stake him before they became friendly.
Creating this cover really took 20/20 vision! #BadPunNoCookie #YesISavedThatUp
Seriously, though, this is a cool idea, and would be especially appropriate with the alternate DC Earth where Batman actually did become a vampire. (Doubly fun if that's who that is crawling out of the crypt!)
I agree with Cary, too, that this would have been a good choice for next week's Halloween cover. Hopefully you'll have something great planned, like Dracula vs the Care Bears.
And some time on this blog Buffy really should cross paths with the Confessor.
Dracula and care bears? How about Black Bolt and Shirt Tales?
+1 to see the Confessor on this blog.

Maybe, thanks to the wonders of the Multiverse, that's Batman '66 climbing out of the tomb?
^_^
@Simreeve: If so, is the mortal Batman, aiding BTVS, Burt "The Once-Youthful" Ward?

@Cary Comic, a few years ago I was in the hospital, and the intern sent to take my blood was wearing a nametag that said "Andrew Bennett." Needless to say, I was nervous. Even more so when it took him four tries to find my vein.
