I remember reading a reprint of that story arc. And Golden Age Luthor was as bald then as his more modern depictions! It's only in COIE (and other Late Silver Age stories) that he had red hair.
Now I want Dick to fight an octopus/Bucky Barnes hybrid. WEIRD
Above anonymous, when Luthor was first introduced, he had red hair, but was changed to being drawn as bald still in the early 1940s.
@ 2nd Anonymous: my point, exactly. DC was into ret-conning even _before_ COIE!
This sounds like a good story.
I'd love to see Dick's later Titans team (the early 2000's one) investigating something like this.
