The Tick and Atomic Robo
The Tick is back with new live action episodes starring Peter Serafinowicz in the title role. I'm not sure about what I have seen so far of it though - admittedly only a scene and a trailer, but following Patrick Warburton will be tough. Personally, I would have far preferred to see the animated Tick cartoon return instead. It's still my favorite comedic superhero show ever.

The pilot is available on Amazon Prime.
Spoooon!
Speaking purely for myself? I liked the syndicated Savage Dragon cartoon, from the Eighties, a lot better. But, I also love the theme for today's artwork! Is that supposed to be Dr. Dinosaur's great-great-great-grandad in the background?
Spoon!
I, too, loved the animated Tick, but mostly because I loved American Maid. Alas, she'll probably never be seen again; as an IP she belongs to the company that did that show.
That said, I have found some decent cosplayers dressed up as the Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight....
PS: Someday, somehow, I'd like to see EMBWBM paired up with Crazy Harry of the Muppets!
Hey, I saw that Pilot, and it is actually really good. I'd go so far as to say excellent, but it's only a Pilot and I am not sure what tweaks to expect upon regular episodes arrival.
It's a touch darker, but this really reflects the times. It's parodying modern comics this time around, rather than the silver age parody of the Tick comics and bronze age parody of the old live action TV show.
