Black Lightning and Black Panther
Black Panther is expected to have a big push in popularity through his various Marvel movie appearances, so there's no surprise that a new ongoing comic series is being readied. The creative team definitely sounds good - Ta-Nehisi Coats will be writing, with art by Brian Stelfreeze. Coates is a new name to me, but I have been a huge fan of Brian Stelfreeze since his amazing work on Batman: Shadow of the Bat. He seems like a perfect fit for The Black Panther, and indeed the promotional image he provided for the upcoming series looks incredible.

I wonder if the rose of Black Panther is the reason DC is looking to mend bridges with Tony Isabella...
I like Black Lightning a lot. Especially as part of Batman's Outsiders. Teacher by day, vigilante by night - hero all the way around.
Will T'challa be featured in the next Avengers flick or a (hopefully more) Fantastic Fourth film?
Anonymous- TChalla's going to be in the next Captain America film, and then will star in his own movie.
Thanks, Al! :-)
How about a meeting between the Kingpin and his doppelganger Tobias Whale?
Sonofjack - those two conspired on my Black Lightning / Spider-Man cover if you check the archives...
