Doc Savage and The Human Torch

I am still very wary of the new Fantastic Four reboot that's about to hit theaters, but one thing that I think they got right visually is the look of the Human Torch flamed on and in action.  There's been endless debate about Michael B. Jordan's casting as Johnny Storm, but I don't think anyone can deny that the Human Torch battle scenes look pretty authentic - from the quick glimpses we have seen thus far, at least.   Wish I felt the same way about The Thing's appearance.  Put some pants on, Ben!

And here I thought we would be talking about a possible Phase IV or Phase V The Invaders film from Marvel...Maybe if there was a co-licensing deal with Fox and Universal...

Nice crossover, but you've mislabeled the Doc Savage artist—it's not Alex Ross, but Bob Larkin, who took over the Bantam reprint covers after James Bama. Your Doc crossovers with Hawkman and Captain America were also Larkin pieces, as was the Nick Fury head shot you used in The Bondsmen.

Human Torch is by Alex Ross

I'm not so much concerned with this new version of Ben Grimm exposing his Thing as I am with making Johnny Storm a member of a minority just for the sake of multi-ethnic correctness. How are they going to explain the lack of family resemblance between him and the new Sue Storm; foster siblings (a la Harrelson and Snipes in "Money Train")?

I believe they are going the adoption route.

Beautiful cover, and another story that would be a lot of fun to read. Nice job!
