Samurai Jack and Wolverine

Marvel's direct-to video animated offerings have been a mixed bag.  I have liked a couple but none have had the re-watchability of many of DC's efforts.  One exception to that rule is Hulk Vs. Wolverine/Hulk Vs. Thor.  The animation in that double feature seems to be a notch above Marvel's usual standards and both tales are quick paced and fun.  It's definitely my favorite animated version of Wolverine to date.  I'd love to see a Wolverine tale animated in the Samurai Jack style one of these days.

There seems to be some hubbub over Hugh Jackman considering the next Wolverine film to be his last time as the character. He's done quite well with the role over the last fifteen years or so. Almost like Kevin Conroy's Batman; or even Adam West's Batman. I'd say he might be approaching Sir Roger Moore's Bond as far as being so closely identified with a character.

I'll have to give the VS. double feature another look...

I thought Ultimate Avengers was pretty good. Let's face it, Captain America intentionally punching the Hulk simply to get his attention?

I can just picture the two of them being brought together by everyone's favorite time-traveling mutant cyborg: Cable Summers.

That saber-toothed beast looks a lot like a bardelot (a creature of the far future that is speculated to have evolved from carnivore-like descendants of rats).
