There have been lots of rumors floating around concerning Sony and Marvel Studios trying to come to some sort of partnership with the rights to Spider-Man, allowing Marvel to feature the Web-Slinger in their movies. While it would be cool to finally see Spider-Man's adventures as presented by his home studio, I am not sure another instant franchise reboot would be a hit so soon. Maybe Spidey needs a cooling down period first, appearing as a guest star one or two times before headlining his own film once more. One thing is for sure, we don't need to see the origin again!
One of the most common requests I get is to show a tutorial on how a cover is created. I did that once during my MS Paint days, back in 2011. I use Photoshop now, and I'll be presenting an all-new step-by-step tutorial as just one of the special features included in The STF 1000th Issue Spectacular, coming up in two short days! Don't miss it!

Perhaps they could forego any undue retooling and reissuing of an origin movie by having it so that Spider-Man is the Marvel Movie-verse's first trans-dimensional adventure, with Peter Parker and his mythos existing in a pocket universe that _should_ be part of their own, but has diverged somehow. Heck, with Marvel Comics' pinchon [sic] for trying to explain old plot threads and retcons, they could say this pocket universe is constantly recreating itself, explaining to use -- the audience -- why there's been two different versions of Spidey so far.
This may be too spacey for general audiences, but I figure it would be a good way to prime stuff for future cosmic adventures in the franchise.
I dunno that they need to explain it at all. Spidey can just show up as a guest character in another movie. There would be no reason to question it.
Is this Parker-Spidey or Morales-Spidey?
That's Peter.
In that case, I think a team up with Reyes-Beetle would probably involve a Skrull mercenary, impersonating JJJJr, and the Spider Guild of the Vega star system.
Has anyone NOT seen this Easter Egg from the first edition of the X-Men (1) DVD?
