Despite his height and handsome features, Hugh Jackman has won over most comic fans with his multiple portrayals of Logan. He isn't done with the character with new installments of X-Men and Wolverine on the horizon, but even he has begun talking about retiring the role and passing the torch on to a younger actor. I hope that when that day eventually comes, we will see a shorter, scruffier version that is closer in appearance to Wolverine's comic book look.
I have often been asked about what my personal favorite STF covers are. I'll be presenting them as just one of the special features included in the STF 1000th Issue Spectacular, coming in one week!

Now, this is an awesome cover. We even get to see both of our disparate heroes from the same unusual dramatic angle. That's not even mentioning that Savage Dragon's remark pretty much tells the whole story of what's inside, in a way that would have me wanting to open up the book and read it.
I wish there was a way to get your STF covers collected in print. The permissions and royalties would be a major headache, I'm sure, but it would be an awesome thing.
Thanks Bob! Believe me, I wish there was a way to put these in print as well! Due to the nature of this blog, reworking existing artwork featuring licenced characters, I don't see how it would ever be possible.
........ but after we find a way to change them back we can hurt them. ; )) ; ))

Great cover again and can't wait for the 1000 issue you have never let us down before.
I'm sure a printed STF collection (of #1-#1000) would be possible. But as we've both already mentioned, the permissions, royalties, and other factors would be such a task that it would be very, very difficult. If it was just Marvel and DC involved, you probably could get the licenses with little trouble, but there are so many other interests involved that you'd be spending much of your time doing that instead of this.
(That said, if you have a halfway decent entertainment lawyer in your area, that individual probably could work things out.)
Oh, I am sure it is possible in some way - but I don't think I would ever be able to make any money off of it, that's for sure!

Yeah but I'm blanking on where it originated. Looks like Olivier Coipel maybe but I'm not sure...
I had commissioned Joe Rubinstein do a Wolverine picture for me last year... it's a black and white (pencil and ink), he drew it while I watched.
This picture of Wolverine reminds me of a Flipped version of this picture that is colored...

Well, if that day ever does come, I would go with whoever played the short body double for Steve Rogers in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER. You know; the one who had Mr. Evans' face cyber-imposed over his own, during the pre-experiment scenes?
The script writers could even incorporate Logan being subjected to a Pym-particle beam as the in-story gimmick for the partial loss of height!
