The New Teen Titans and Spider-Man

I remember reading the classic Wolfman/Perez run of New Teen Titans and thinking how cinematic it all was, with the human drama mixed in with super-heroics and the detailed visuals.  It's too bad that now that comic book movies are all the rage, the time for a New Teen Titans movie is long past.  We will get a tease of what one may have been like with the appearance of Cyborg on film, but I'm not holding my breath for film versions of characters like Starfire or Donna Troy any time soon.

Awww, yeah - Titans!
Super cover!

The Wolfman/Perez New Teen Titans was the first SERIES I followed and collected. I think that was when the Direct Market started as well, there was a Local Comic Book Store in town and I wasn't stuck buying the odd single issues that I could find at the drug store, grocery store or newsstand rack. I could have the Titans held for me the day it came out and pick it up at my convenience! Cool!

Wolfman and Perez got me into tracking down the Classic Titans, too!

It would have been nice to see Spider-Man, Uncanny X-Men, Teen Titans, Archie's Super-Teens, The Legion, Jimmy Olsen and Supergirl all interact back in the day. I started reading Archie while waiting for my older brothers at the orthodontist...
:)

I guess I will have to be happy with the comics. I doubt that anything more than Teen Titans, GO! will materialize...

Hoping to see a third part of Dr Strange and Titans head to hell for Spider-Man's soul.

I agree the Wolfman/Perez run was great and it changed comics forever, but could someone please explain what the deal was with Terry Long? The dude creeped me out.

Re: Terry Long? Never heard of him. His work must not be that memorable.
