Archie's Super-Teens Meet Nightwing and Flamebird

Superman's Silver Age tales could be very hokey, but there is an undeniable charm to them.  I loved all of the high-concept ideas that sprung from the world of Krypton.  The Bottle City of Kandor was one such cool concept, and the idea that Superman had a second super-heroic identity there just made it more fun.

Wow. all those super-teens look like they could try out for the legion of super heroes. They may be corny but man those silver age stories had charm and wit. Things comics are sorely lacking in today's stories.

I'm not much for action figures, but I did get the Superman as Nightwing one from a couple of years ago. Completely charming, as you say. They must, they absolutely must put out a Jimmy as Flamebird figure.

Why was Jimmy Olsen never part of the Teen Titans?

Archie and Jimmy should team-up for real! That would be a crossover I would buy.

Because Jimmy Olsen isn't a Superhero

Pureheart vs. Darkseid!

Nuff said.

But Jimmy is a superhero in some stories. He's even a member of the Legion as Elasti-Lad, IIRC.

I've always wanted to see an Archie/Superman crossover where Archie filled in for Jimmy as Superman's pal... just imagining the disasters that would follow always tickled me.

Great cover Ross!

(Watching Young Justice on CN)

Mal wasn't a super-hero and he was a Titan. I think Jimmy would have been great in one of his "powered" guises - linking the Legion and Titans in the Silver Age...along with Supergirl.

Superman and Archie would have been awesome!
