Iron Man and The Rocketeer Vs. Godzilla

This cover is inspired by my admiration for the classic serials from cinema's early days. None of these characters starred in those great black & white cliffhangers, but I think they would have fit right into that genre.  Start out with concept art and storyboards by the amazing Art Adams and you would have had a continuing adventure sure to thrill young and old!

As a huge Godzilla fan, you are my hero with this one. AND it's one of the IDW renditions no less! (Ironically, the Rocketeer is also being published by IDW.)

If this were real, it would take YEARS to come out, but it would be glorious. :)

(I love Art Adams' work - he may be slow, but he's worth the wait)

I'm always amused by the fact that Iron Man's original armor didn't bother with any reasonable explanation for how his joints could move.

Great work as always!

New cover idea:

"Archie's Gal Pals: Betty Page and Veronica."

The original Rocketeer short stories (as a back-up in Starslayer) were written as if they were a movie serial. So the character's tone fits right in.
