Cloak & Dagger and Boba Fett

I have wanted to feature the very cool artwork of Skottie Young on here for some time, but he has such a signature style that it is hard to mesh it with the work of other illustrators.  I have admired his work for quite some time, his scratchy style gives everything a sense of life and movement.  He seems to be at home with a wide range of subject types, be they magical, horrific or whimsical.  Hopefully we will see a lot more from him in the future.

Speechless. A beautiful cover Ross. This guy's art reminds me of Bill Sienkiewicz, who I hated as a youngster in elementary school, but grew to love as I reached adulthood. Steve Lightle as well. Funny, I now prefer more impressionistic or abstract artists now, over the more traditional ones. I can now afford thier graphic novels too.

Breathtaking. If I didn't know better, I'd swear that was a Tom Mandrake Spectre drawing. I totally admire your manipulations of the artwork.

Seriously, this cover is amazing.

I love Skottie Yong's stuff, even managed to snag an original drawing when he was doing a sketch blog. I would be so all over this book if he did it.

I have to admit: I've never heard of him before. But, I have a feeling that's going to change!
