Batman and Hawkeye

Hawkeye has always been a great character, but he has had a rough go of it for the past several years. Killed off, brought back to life but in another identity, then watching a villain take over his persona... It's been a frustrating time to be a Hawkeye fan. This looks to be changing as he is about to begin a new self titled series, finally back in costume and alongside Mockingbird. I am not that familiar with the artist or writer, but I do like the character, so I will give it a try and hope for the best.

I heard a rumor that actor Jeremy Renner may be playing the role of Hawkeye in the upcoming Avengers film. I don't know how true that is, but after seeing him in The Hurt Locker, I think it is a pretty solid choice for the role.

Extra thought on your pic. That issue of West Coast Avengers had the team fight a villain whom Marvel used in thier old Godzilla comic. In the story, the villain had captured his "old adversary" (which was Godzilla back in his comic) & mutate him. Thew villain unleashed him on California I think, and the WACKOS fought him. So the creature on that cover IS the Marvel Universe Godzilla.
In this world you've created, Batman already has teamed with Godzilla, so no wonder he doesn't want to hurt him in this issue!

Actually, I used an Iron Man cover for this one, although it guest starred the WCA. But it is funny how some of these covers link together. That's a cool factoid about Marvel's Godzilla! I do have a clear 2 issue story and then a 3 part story coming up, so keep tuned!

I'd swear I requested that one. And the Guardians of the Galaxy. Good times!

It kicks ass that you kept up with this, Ross.
