Batman and KISS

This was another request that was well off of the beaten path, but when I remembered the great tabloid cover featuring Batman and his four greatest villains, I figured I would give it a shot. It's a simple cover, but the oddity of the team up makes up for that hopefully.

I remember being entranced by Kiss as a kid - they seemed kind of like superheroes to me with their makeup, outfits, and over the top attitude. I was at the perfect age for all of that stuff to really resonate. It didn't hurt that they had a bunch of catchy hits as well.

I may have never cared for KISS but I love this team-up. Since KISS had their own comic book specials and series it is a team up that could have happened.

As you're heading into the Ls, I gotta put a pitch in for The Lone Ranger. Ridiculous, maybe. But cool!!!!! - bigjeffoh@aol.com

There's one I never even thought of - I'll have to check how many comic book versions there are of him.

When I saw the suggestion of the Lone Ranger I wondered if you did a team-up with the Green Hornet? He now has two new series out and there was another one several years ago so it would be easy to find art for it.

Hmmm that's a good suggestion!

Nothing could've been more camp than Adam West Batman meeting "Phantom of the Park" KISS.
The Demon, StarChild, Space Man and Cat Man were more casually thought of as super-heroes. Gene Simmons is said to be a big comics fan, hope he sees your thread one day!
