Six years since their first go-around...and still no animated series? Well, maybe that's a mixed blessing. It would give DC's writers more time to figure out a way to incorporate the canonical Silver Age origin (Prof. Yatz' inventions) for streaming TV. Which would hopefully be followed by distribution of DVD compilations within the following year for those of us who will never be able to afford streaming service unless and until it's totally and literally free!

it’s a battle that is actually a good match as the creeper’s strength is not that much enhanced and his acrobatic skills would help give him a chance of success, and nearly everyone underestimates the Kingpin !
The Creeper is a long time favorite of mine. Recently scored the hardcover collection of his early tales, which include a tale that had been drawn but not published. Would it have killed them, though, to spring for someone to color it?
For some publishers, bankruptcy is a fate worse than death.
Even though he is such an offbeat character, I've always liked the one and only original Creeper! One of my favorite Creeper appearances is from the Joker's solo comic in the 70s. Great artwork in that one. The Kingpin is a powerful force, and he is more agile than the heroes give him credit for sometimes. I think the Creeper will be able to gain the upper hand eventually.

I wonder how Kingpin would against a more obscure Ditko character? Like, say, Charlton's Killjoy.

This is another particularly well-done cover, Ross; it's hard to tell that Ryder and Fisk weren't drawn in the same sitting.
@Ben: Good luck with that. I mean, since when has DC ever paid attention to what the fans want?
oh, Wilson, after all you've been through....you don't need to take a Ryder to trump your nature. You're not a Joker but you could use some assist with your impatience. Maybe a Big Barda or Wonder Woman could help more than you could think.
Creeper has so much potential and yet it's not easy to get him right. His secret id is who he is but that seems to change from the different writers who take him on.
No problem, Ross, for 'hitting a wall' in doing more with Ryder. We know you know Jack!!

Ah, so it's been that many years. Certainly not with the current PTB.
The whole fact that the Legion's first appearance wasn't their only appearance is, in fact, because the fans demanded more. But that's a pretty long time ago... More recently, killing Jason Todd in the first place was left up to a vote, which the final tally was respected. I was just a little kid then, so still not recent... plus, they did eventually bring him back, so yeah. Some might say that the Rebirth initiative was actually an example of DC listening to the fans, it does seem so. Having the classic Post-Crisis Superman take back the spotlight, bringing back the original Wally West, putting Nightwing back in Bludhaven, etc. But that's been a few years ago now too...
@Ben W: is all that due to Dr. Manhattan using the last of his tachyonic energies to revive certain previously erased multiverses (at the end of the DOOMWATCH limited series)?
