Sgt. Fury & His Howling Commandos and G.I. Robot

I am very curious to see how G.I. Robot will be handled on the Creature Commandos animated show. As a basically non-verbal character, it might be a challenge to give him any kind of personality.  Still, James Gunn is writing the whole series, and he did a great job with Groot, so I am optimistic.

Another GI Robot story titled Gears of War XD

I love the title! Although, didn't you use that already back in October, 2019?*

*See STF #2736.

Coming up with 5000 story titles and not repeating yourself is a challenge.

Oh! This is another natural combo Ross. I thought Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos had met the G.I. Robot already. Good story setup!

@Ken Roskos: I'm hoping that Nick Fury and his agents of SHIELD someday get to meet MLJ's The Shield.

J.A.K.E. from the State's "farm" is going to help raise Fury and put Strucker out to pasture? I'd buy that. J.A.K.E. should be great insurance in getting the job done.

and after the mission, the robot was handed to Mr. Stark who started working on the future LMD’s that s.h.i.e.l.d. would use.
love the way this would come together…

I remember Fury. He used to be a real marvel character that lasted a few generations.
Told to hand in his S.H.I.E.L.D. and hit the road. Not impressed by how he was treated. You've done better. After Cap a robot should be no problem.
How well can the robot work? It's early tech. Good luck.

Have you ever done a Fury and Sgt Rock team up.

@Rod, try #399 from May 17, 2013. The tags on the left column help find characters and teaming.
