Plastic Man and The Mask

Putting these personalities and powers sets side by side would make for a visually interesting and humorous story. This is another cover in which I had to do some character removal before I could do any character addition.  Here's a look behind the scenes:

Great blending, Ross!

The original cover looks like the story premise might've been something like "What if Plas' powers were contagious as the common cold?". But, your revision does, indeed, put a different spin on things. For instance; is this Silver Age Plas, still working for the NBI, trying to capture The Mask on behalf of the ECPD? Or is this Modern Age Plas trying to regain his Offspring's hero-worship out of jealousy that it's evidently shifted to Edge City's resident anti-hero?

Eh! I'm probably just over-analyzing.

The story would be especially interesting if the individual they were trying to deal with was Impossible Man.

Aside: The background characters look like Arigones creations, which is interesting considering that it was John Nyberg's work (doubly interesting with Phil Foglio on the credits, too).

Love the work of Phil Foglio, especially his Plastic Man! Foglio and Barta showed that yes, there can be a comedic side to superhero.

the follow up could be Woozy Winks and Bugs Bunny or the Lord of Chaos- Daffy Duck…
one could but Hope…

"Nothing wrong with hope. But, probably too much to expect."

--Xander on whether or not he'll ever stop calling Giles "G-man".

@Bob G, that is an imp-credible idea!!The Mask vs The Impossible Man!! Both with powers and abilities FAR beyond mortal men!! Anything MAY happen!!

@Det. Tobor: in that case, how aboutThe Mask vs. Aunt May as the Golden Oldie (herald of Galactus)?

@Anon 8:44, NO WAY!!She'd be too sensible.

@Det. Tobor: I would've once said the same thing about a "Spider-Ma'am". Up until the Spider-verse story arc!
