It sounds like the Arrowverse on the CW is coming to an end. Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow have already been cancelled, with Naomi expected to follow and The Flash will conclude after a shortened final season. Superman and Lois is safe for now and Stargirl's fate has not been mentioned. I believe the third season has been filming though, so hopefully we will get a solid conclusion to the series.
I am happy to use the art of the incredibly detailed Geoff Darrow here. I was lucky enough to pick up a matching pair of sketches by him several years back:

This makes me wish for an actual book, thanks.
P.S.--Wasn't Big Guy just a Dark Horse version of Hugh Hazard's Bozo the Iron Man?
@Anonymous: that he was.
@Ross: I can't honestly say I'll be sorry to see the super-operas go.
"Arrow" mishandled Ray Palmer. "The Flash" went too far with the framed-into-corrupt prison subplot (during the Thinker story arc). And don't even get me started on Lena Thorul being driven to traitorous drink on "Supergirl!"
It's why I am literally grateful for my local cable TV provider for removing CW from their basic line-up.
Well, it seems that the CW deliberately writes series with a high level of...how can I put it delicately.....Corn, Camp and Cringe. They have decided that this is the demographic they want (its cheap, I'm sure. Deep, pathos- laden plotlines are probably expensive to produce. Quickly hashed out Daytime soap opera-type scripts keeps costs low) and their riding this business model into the sunset. Good luck with them.
This is the first I've heard of Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow having been cancelled. Naomi and Stargirl never really were Arrowverse shows, and Superman & Lois has mostly been ignoring the fact that it's supposed to be, so with the others gone the universe is pretty much shot to pieces.
I'm not surprised that Batwoman got the axe. The show was trying, but was leaning a little too hard on "being Lesbian" or "being Black" for much of its run, and went too far into the fantastical in the third season. I was about ready to give up on it myself. (Javica Leslie did an excellent job, though, and I look forward to seeing more from her in the future.)
It's somewhat of a pity about Legends of Tomorrow, though, after the show finally got around to introducing Booster Gold, not to mention the cliffhanger season ending. But at least Amy Louise Pemberton (Gideon) got to spend more than one episode on-set for this last season.
The Arrowverse pretty much jumped the shark with the back half of Crisis on Infinite Earths, with the lack of the long-teased appearance of Reverse-Flash ("leading an army of shadow demons") and the disappointing final battle against the Anti-Monitor. The reason for the former problem was that the writers basically didn't feel like it (something like, "we don't want to be bound by what some other writer came up with").
@Cary: The character Arrow mishandled was Ted Kord, because they had to rename him Ray Palmer when WB decided they wanted to do something else with Ted but changed their minds after it was too late to change the character's name back to Ted. That was the first in a series of increasingly bad decisions on the company's part that peaked with a certain casting decision for the upcoming Aquaman sequel.
Thank you for proving my point, Bob.
@Cary: Well, my point was that it wasn't the show itself that messed up, but the brass higher up than Greg Berlanti.
Aside from that, you're welcome.
@Bob: potato/tomato. :-)
You should consider a x-over / battle between BG&Rusty and Gigantor&Astro Boy.
I might have some inspiration: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1151987
I enjoy Big Guy and Rusty! I remember when they were animated and the Fox Kids cartoon made them more kid friendly, but I liked it, none the less. And Big Guy made me think of Marvel’s Strong Guy! Any chance he’ll be making and appearance here?
Will Bozo the Iron Man ever join one of the Robo Forces?
So full super hero shows are on the way out because their costs doesn't get enough audience share, BUT CW is still willing to make hero shows like Tom Swift(New CW promo). Maybe an early Doc Savage might be near?
Or Discover wants to do with CW what Disney did with Netflix? The day of the MEGA BRAND push is upon us. Get your retirement funds out now to watch your favorite heroes on tv or to watch then try to equal Spider-Man No Way Home's Two Billion dollar box office record.
Good luck Mr Phelps.
Big Guy & Rusty should meet Hanna-Barbera's 'Frankenstein Jnr.', too.
Or even a Ted-Turnerized Astro Boy!
What - no room for Frankenstein, Junior?
