Rocket Raccoon and Chewbacca
I 'm betting that no invitations to join Chewbacca and the Fur Force will be forthcoming after this little stunt. In past adventures, Rocket got along better with Chewie's partner - he met Han Solo in STF #1488 and again in STF #1859, and Chewie got along better with Rocket's Partner - he met Groot in STF #1860...

Don't tell me; let me guess. This time around, Ronan has abducted Groot and Han! The difference being...this time he had some help.
Sith Lady Pamela Isley.
Don't groan! It'd be the perfect premise for bringing together Rocket Raccoon with the one partner he's never had (as yet). Harley Quinn!
Actually, I think that's perfectly doable. Isley could be depicted as either Zelosian or a half-human Sylphe. While Quinn, given her unusually pale complexion (leucocytic albinism?), could be depicted as a Dathomirian Nightsister!
Now you guys have me wishing for a Harley Quinn vs. Darth Maul cover.
Rocket's insecurities usually seem to get the better of him, mainly his size. It always looks like he takes it out on the bigger guys. If he ran up against some Ewoks, that might be a different story.
Or, even better, if he had a reunion with GL CH'P. The two of them haven't worked together in over 2100 issues!
Two thousand, one hundred seventy-five, to be precise.
But, who's counting? ;-D
@Cary: let's split the difference. Have Ch'p recruiting Wicket the Ewok as his successor GL!
No idea if you have already paired them, but a few covers back, when Detective Chimp appeared, I was thinking it'd be fun to pair him with Rocket. No problem if Chewie was along for the ride too.
Perhaps with the three of them cavorting on the Planet of the Apes!
