First the big rumor was that John Krasinski would star as Mr. Fantastic and direct the Fantastic Four movie for Marvel. Now there's new speculation that Bryce Dallas Howard is in talks to direct, and possibly star as Sue Storm. Are either of these correct, or is the truth somewhere in the middle... or something else entirely?

What a smashing cover. A "dear John" letter of true love. Is Sue's mind controlling force field stronger than Diana's muscles?? At least Diana didn't have to contend with Malice. And "the three" being back is such a great surprise. Well done again.
Ross, in your notes for this cover it has the name Stephen Byrne????
is that suppose to be John Byrne????
another beautiful and intriguing cover....
Darn auto-fill
A smashing cover? I thought it was Ghast-ly.
@my namesake: I think it's more like an alliance of convenience between Psycho-Man and Dr. Cyber as they play an elaborate mind-game on Diana, using a LMD of Sue (stolen from SHIELD) complete with force field generator a la Dr. Doom's armor.
P.S.---the above anonymous is me; Carycomic.
For some reason, Google thinks I'm not myself. Talk about needlessly paranoid!
The main rumor I've been seeing is that the film will feature John Krasinski and Emily Blunt and Reed Richards and Sue Storm. As for director, I've heard nothing; but I wouldn't mind Bryce Dallas Howard, having seen her very fine work on The Mandalorian.
Who's John Krasinski?---Carycomic
I hope John Krasinski returns as Reed Richards. He did really well in Strange 2 and does look like Reed. Hopefully they find a director soon (Howard would be great as director and/or Susan). I just don't want another origin story. Flashbacks to them getting their powers would be fine, but don't make that the whole movie, as we've gotten 3 of those already and everyone knows the FF's origin. Still, now that its back with Marvel, I'm sure it will be a fantastic film. (Pun intended)
Oh! So, Krasinski was Stretcho in "...Multiverse of Madness." I was wondering why I couldn't Ioan Gruffudd's name in the closing credits!
Sorry! That should've read "...couldn't find..."
I'm having a very crappy cyber-Tuesday, today.
Here's an idea for a team-up: Nemesis the Warlock versus the Dire Wraiths!
Please tell me you don't mean that Dr. Fate wanna-be, with the plagiarized Hourman logo, from ACG Publishing back in the Sixties. :-(
@Anonymous414: nope! He's referring to a character from a very popular British indie called "2000 AD."
@Cary: Well, at least you got your ID back.
@Nobleman: I my fanscript, I pick up where the quartet has just crash-landed after their fateful rocket trip, and the buildup to that point is told in brief flashbacks (none more than 30 seconds or so). Unfortunately for John, he'd be no good for that script, as much of that depends on all four being in their early 30s, and he's 42 (though one could argue that Reed just looks older.
Cary, I thought you were, somehow, going to one-up my Ghast pun with an Abnegazar pun. I suppose I escaped your Rath.
Looks like you spoke, too soon. Those control freaks are at it, again.

@Cary: Sorry. I guess I jinxed it.
@Anon@8:11/1:29: #OkayPunHaveHalfACookie (both times, so it's maybe a whole cookie)
Maybe I'm secretly being warred against by the Cookie Monster?
@Cary: Possibly!
