Green Arrow and Devil Dinosaur

I'm really looking forward to Jurassic Park: Dominion.  it will be great to see the original cast return for more than just cameos and how they relate to the newer characters.  Plus this is supposed to finally clos out the Jurassic movies, so it will be interesting to see how everything is resolved.  That is, of course, until Hollywood changes its mind and Jurassic Rebirth or something is released in 10 years...

The last movie was supposed to be the final one. Hence, the somewhat controversial (to true fans, anyway) shot of the brachiosaurus getting char-broiled by all that lava! But, then again, there were some wild ones still breeding at Site B (aka Isla Sorna), weren't there? So, who's to say some of them didn't dog-paddle over to the Costa Rican mainland as the result of a tsunami caused by seismic after-shocks from that volcanic eruption at Site A (aka Jurassic World)?

Judging by the trailers I've seen thus far, those aren't the only changes to occur in the outside world of the JPCU. The dino-clones released by Hammond's ex-partner's "granddaughter" would seem to have bred like rabbits! That West African transgender frog gene working overtime, apparently. The Golden Age Green Arrow, eh? I'm not sure, but I seem to recall DC keeping that guy pretty Robin Hood-ish, as the original concept of "Batman with a bow," even while updating his Silver Age counterpart. Even his personality had the more bland Golden Age style.

Y'know, I'd love to see if Green Arrow was ever a member of the Stargirl JSA, and whether he'd be played by Steven Amell, Jamey Sheridan, Justin Hartley, or someone else. With DC in the process of shutting down all of its CW shows (Arrowverse and otherwise) and moving everything to HBO Max, I doubt I'll ever find out.

On your topic of the Jurassic Park franchise, I think you're mostly right. If it comes back, figure on a complete reboot in the late 40s or early 50s.

Say, maybe next time we see Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy, it could be with the Herculoids! Having caught up on the nature of DD's adventures (thank you Wikipedia), I think the pairing would be a natural fit.

Dear Bob: I remember a couple reprints, from DC's Early Silver Age, where both Tomahawk and Rex the Wonder Dog had some run-ins with anachronistic dinosaurs! The guides put out during the original COIE ret-conned them as involving possible portals between Earth-One and Skartaris.

If only DC's then-writers hadn't gotten so intellectually lazy and become obsessed with "streamlining" (emphasis on sarcastic quotes)!

Ugh, don't even joke about that!

I would like to second Bob's suggestion of a Devil Dinosaur/ Herculoids crossover, though!

@Bob One episode had Pat showing Courtney a picture of his first team, the Seven Soldiers of Victory, which did include Green Arrow and Speedy! I've been hoping ever since that we could see a Green Arrow on that show that, in an almost rebuttal to Stephen Amell, could have an almost Adam West style and demeanor!

"Holy Revision, Bow Man!"

@Cary: If Ross decides to do a DD/Warlord crossover, I hope he credits you for the inspiration.

@Ben: I'd forgotten that GA and Speedy were members of the 7 Soldiers. And what you describe would be epic!

Thanks, Bob. :-)

But, if he can't capture enough images of those two, I'd be willing to modestly settle for Warlord and Action Jackson. Or even Action Jackson and Capt. Action '66!

Fallen Kingdom was never intended to be the final Jurassic Park film.

Neither is JW:DOMINION, for that matter.
