Jessica Jones and Sherlock Holmes

I haven't heard any confirmation other than the fact that Kevin Feige stated he enjoyed Krysten Ritter in the role of Jessica Jones, but I hope that the rumors are true that she could be among those returning from the Marvel Netflix shows to join the MCU.  She could definitely show up in Echo or a new Disney+ Daredevil series (although those two may be one and the same show with a last minute change of title, according to other rumors).  Now that Tony Stark is gone, the MCU definitely needs someone with a dry wit like Jessica to poke holes in the A-List heroes.

Let me guess. JJ is the only one who remembers Peter Parker. So, she's "borrowed" a certain Victorian-era derby hat (bequeathed to MaryJane Watson's Aunt Anna) to help Dr. Strange recruit the help of Sherlock Holmes in solving the mystery of Pete's disappearance.

Ah, what an opportunity this could have been for a Gordon Cumberbatch double-exposure! ;-)

I think I mentioned here the other that I'd love to see Jessica interact with Yelena Belova, especially after seeing the latter on Hawkeye. (On a related note, it just occurred to me yesterday that Yelena and Kate Bishop are on the road to a friendship that would be "like Budapest all over again.")

Regarding the Echo series, the rumors I've heard is that it'll focus on Echo, but involve Daredevil and his supporting cast well enough that it'd almost be like Daredevil Season 3.5 (somewhat like The Book of Boba Fett being like The Mandalorian Season 2.5). Then there'll be a proper Daredevil Season 4 (or Series 2 Season 1) on Disney+, though possibly not before our favorite "very good lawyer" appears in the next Spider-Man movie.

@Cary: I think you mean Benedict Cumberbatch. #Oopsie

But in the MCU, I've heard one analysis wondering if the "forget about Peter Parker" spell only affected people on Earth. If that's the case, then not only might Thor, Captain Marvel, the Eternals, and the Guardians of the Galaxy remember him, but so too would anyone on the S.W.O.R.D. satellite -- including Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Monica Rambeau, Talos, and any other Skrulls up there.

Oh, yeah! I must've been confusing him with his co-star from that upcoming Western; THE POWER OF THE DOG. The latter plays a character named Peter Gordon!

JJ: "Evidently, this particular crossover is considered too unlikely, by the readers, to warrant a bigger response. What's your school of thought, Mr. H?"

SH: "Elementary, my dear Jones. Elementary!"
