This may look like a relatively simple cover, but it was quite tricky to create. In order to get the Super-Skrull to be trapped within Darkseid's beams, I had to remove Orion, who was originally there, then recreate the missing beam parts, then isolate that into a couple of layers and place them on top of one another, before inserting the Skrull and then adding in the background elements. Here are some stages of development:

Enjoyed the Behind The Scenes look. Lots of Photoshop schooling. What about Darkseid vs Amazo and Super-Adaptoid? Could they handle him?

For this one, I needed no convincing. I took one glance at that beam cage and thought, "Holy cats! I don't envy Ross the work on that one!" This would have to rival one of your "100-Page Special" covers. And it's quite well done, too; I would've wanted something different with Super-Skrull's flame trail, but getting his arm placement right was surely trouble enough.
Now go do something simple and undemanding, like a meeting of Woozy Winks and Roger Rabbit.
The comments about basically bringing The Totalitarians together against Darkseid, I got to thinking about the premier shape-changers of the Big Two, Chameleon Boy and Morph. I think a story with those two would be loads of fun.
Great cover. Had the idea last night for Doctor Strange and the Legion of Super-Heroes teaming up against Mordru and Dormammu.
Hopefully not amalgamated together as "Mordramamu!" Those two are bad enough, individually.
P.S.---my compliments on being able to (re)integrate that Omega Beam cage. It's like a cross between a Rubix cube and the Tholian web! So, artistically, you must've had your work cut out for you.
