Flaming Carrot and Groot

We've seen Adult Groot in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, Baby Groot in the sequel, and Teen Groot in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.  What stage will Groot be in for the third Guardians film?  It's supposed to take place a few years after Endgame (and Thor: Love and Thunder, in which we may get a Teen Groot appearance).  It will be interesting to see the personality tweaks that he will be given.

Personally, I'd rather see Flaming Carrot in a "Mystery Men" sequel. Preferably played by Jim Carrey (opposite Ben Stiller's Angry Man)!

@Anonymous: I take it you mean, "Mr. Furious?"

I, too, was impressed with the carrot/stick reference. Well played, that one!

This is the first that I've heard of GotG3 taking place "a few years" after Avengers: Endgame. Mathematically, Endgame takes place in 2023, as do most of the movies and TV shows since then. So far Hawkeye is the first one to jump ahead past that year; I'm hoping that the folks at Marvel remember the dates set up in the "Time Heist" before something is specified that scrambles things up.

@Tobor: Actually, "the team-up you could never expect" is one that Ross has already done: The Punisher and Ambush Bug (one of my favorites). That said, it could be rivaled by something like Howard the Duck and He-Man.

@Ross: Speaking of Ambush Bug, we haven't seen him here in a while. I assume you probably have something lined up for him in the future, though; hopefully it'll be either a continuation of his rivalry with Deadpool, or a meeting with someone like Darth Maul or the Predator. (For that matter, Ambush Bug vs. Predator is something I'd actually pay money to have, and I don't even buy comics any more.)

Another rivalry I'm still hoping to see revisited is Doc Samson and Harley Quinn. I'm crossing my fingers that Doc has at least a pre-transformation cameo in She-Hulk.

A one-on-one team-up between Shulkie and Big Barda would also not go amiss. (They have met, but with Barda as one of the Female Furies.)

@Tobor and Bob Greenwade: Now, _that_ would be a team one could never expect! Ambush Bug and Deadpool vs. Vegeta of "Dragonball" fame!

Mr. Roskos? You're a genius. :-)
