Lobo and Tank Girl

Something tells me that these two would get along famously.  They both seem to have similar attitudes.  Plant them in the middle of an Imperial entanglement and just watch the sparks fly.  There's plenty of opportunity for over the top action and mayhem here.

You know something? If this were one of your live-action photo captures, I know who'd be perfect for playing Lobo opposite Lori Petty's Tank Girl. Sam Jones! He did such a masterful job playing extra-terrestrial bounty hunter Aris Boch on STARGATE SG-1, I can't imagine anyone else being able to capture that same sense of lovable incorrigibility so vital to any depiction of Lobo.

The Main Man would definitely give Vader fits in a one-on-one!

@Cary: Emmett J. Scanlan was fun enough as Lobo on Krypton that he almost got his own spinoff series; it was stopped only by the cancellation of the parent show. In fact, taking my above remark into account, he'd be fun against David Prowse's Vader, as the Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka approach to give Hayden Christiansen his opportunity to shine in the role.

@Bob Greenwade: We'll have to agree to permanently disagree, Bob.

I considered Emmett Scanlan's portrayal of Lobo one of the major factors _contributing_ to the cancellation of KRYPTON! :-(

Is that a Mike Mignola Lobo?

It is.

Adam Strange was right. Lobo does resemble a cross between Wolverine and a member of Kiss (lol)!

@Cary: Well, one thing we can agree on is that Sam J. Jones would be a fun live-action Lobo. Let's hope he shows up on Superman & Lois or Legends of Tomorrow or something.

Unrelated: How about Namor rescuing Herman Munster from Flattop Jones? That would be a story only for the level-headed.... #BadPunNoCookie

If Namor rescues Herman from Flattop Jones it would be on a flat-top ship.

Wasn't there a sight gag in one of Daffy Duck's old cartoons (spoofing Dick Tracy) where they alluded to that slang term?

@Anonymous: By George, I think you've got it! ;-)
