I was glad to see Cress Williams suit up one more time as Black Lightning on The Flash a couple of weeks back, but unfortunately, he was not given very much to do in the episode. Let's hope that DC and Warner Bros realize the value of the character and find a way to bring him into the DCEU. I'd have him heading up a proper team of Outsiders (a concept teased in the CW show and Young Justice animated series that never really materialized in either instance), but those studio executives never consult me.

Is this a sequel to #2239 & #1984? With all the African American heroes now in use, it is a shame that they can't form a group of their own and use the name Black Hawks.

These two would be great together, and I'd bet Anthony Mackie and Cress Williams would have a great onscreen chemistry. They might even be worth a photo cover, with Anthony as Captain America, at some time in the future.
I thought Black Lightning's part on The Flash was just about right, especially in the moment. It wasn't a lot of crimefighting action, but he did get his VFX and some really good personal moments with Barry that only he could've managed. Yes, it'd be great to see the two of them fight together to clean some villain's clock, but who knows what tonight's finale will bring? (Other than a huge fight against Reverse-Flash, of course, and probably at least one other surprise guest appearance.)
@Tobor: I think I'd like to see Vixen, Storm, and Dr. Midnight form the core of a team of Black women. If nothing else, I'd finally get to see Beth Chapel on this blog.
@Anon@10:51: Tobias Whale and Tombstone? They do have much in common; among other things, Marvin "Krondon" Jones, who played Whale on TV and voiced Tombstone in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
@General: So Jonah Jameson is taking Jim Gordon to task for using the Spider-Signal, but Gordon was using it at the request of Omni-Man, who is trying to help Stanford Pines return Tenzin to his own world and time....

@Cary: That would then exclude Omni-Man, Dr. Pines, and Tenzin. No, I think leaving Skoda and Burke as "Easter eggs" might be a better solution.
