Snake Plissken Vs. Predator

Thank you to Mike Shirley, a Patron of this blog, for suggesting this match up! It really does seem like a natural for a man known for getting out of inhospitable places to go up against a hunter that won't stop until he lands his prey.  Let's just hope that Dutch gave Snake a few pointers on this particular threat, I think he may need them!

Well, so much for hoping to see Snake help Santa Claus to escape from Ego the Living Planet for this year's Christmas cover. Maybe next year.

On another topic related to single-actor covers, I have an opportunity to meet Christopher Lloyd at Fan Expo Portland next month. If you could post something like Judge Doom Goes Back to the Future (possibly with Easter eggs for Professor Plum, Uncle Fester, My Favorite Martian, and other roles of his), I'd love to print it out and have Chris autograph it.

@Bob G.: Ever see the "Numb3rs" episode, "Graphic" (season 3 episode 9)? It involved the theft of a valuable ashcan comic book. Christopher Lloyd played an artist who was, essentially, Jack Kirby. (And Wil Wheaton played a Todd MacFarlane analogue.) Something you might like to check out before you meet Mr. Lloyd. (It's also got a funny tag scene with Lloyd and Judd Hirsch.)

Correction: Season 4 episode 9.

@Other Bob: Thanks for the tip! I'll take a look, and see if I can find that series streaming anywhere.

My money is on the Predator getting a Snake-skin jacket for Xmas. ;-)

And let me just add my own thanks to Mike for suggesting this team-up. It's such a natural one, I'm shocked nobody ever suggested it before!

With the theme song "King Snake" performed by Steve Martin?

You're reminding me of my old (and admittedly very unlikely) suggestion of Orochimaru (the snakelike early villain from Naruto) vs. Voldemort.

How about Templeton "Face Man" Peck and the original Lt. Starbuck vs. one of Strother Martin's snake men from the eco-thriller cult classic "SSSSSSSSSS!"?

That's assuming there are other Dirk Benedict fans out there. ;-)

I can see Snake Plissken having some trouble with some xenomorphs from Aliens.

Or, even better? Snake Plissken vs. one of the shape-shifting females from SPECIES!
