Teen Titans Vs. The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants

Continued from yesterday's cover, we see the battle The titans have been training for.  Looking at these line ups, it seems like a pretty even match up - I' not sure which way it would go.  What say you?

Back when I collected original art, it was a lot more affordable than it is now.  Still, I could never afford a Jack Kirby piece.  I did pick up this Dan Adkins-inked Kirby image, though.  I examined it closely to see if there were any pencil lines under the ink and I couldn't see any, and plus the price was way too low, so I am confident that Adkins didn't ink over a Kirby original page - but it still looks cool so I was happy to get it:

The only thing I can say for sure, Ross, is that the Scarlet Witch seems to be lasciviously eyeing the Boy Wonder. Maybe Robin could use that to his advantage by employing some of those old Bruce Wayne-isms the single ladies in Gotham City seemed to love so much when his guardian used them?

Great stuff. But I fear Magneto will make short work of them... you'll need a few more covers to cover it...

Kid Flash and Wonder Girl have a good chance. Would Wally match Quicksilver's speed?
Mastermind might stymie Donna for a bit. Toad? Roy might do. Magneto would go after a proud sitting duck like Robin. Charles would have needed to help Dick with non metal materials and devices. Wanda might feel young purple eyes' feelings and go easy on Garth after she dehydrates him.
The Brotherhood's lack of teamwork might play heavily into the results as well. Almost worth a video game. Nicely done Ross.

The other Teen Titans distract the rest of the Brotherhood while Kid Flash makes quick work of Quicksilver; he absconds with Magneto's helmet; and thereby gives Prof. X the chance to give all the Bad Guys his telepathic whammy!

Game over.

What Anon@7:35 points out was the first thing I noticed about this cover. The second thing is that Mastermind (I think that's the guy next to Wanda) appears to be doing a facepalm, as if he thinks the BEM is doomed.

Roy appears to have Magneto's helmet targeted, so it's likely that the arrow he has nocked has some special property.

@Tobor: Wally is much faster than Pietro. This appears to be a Silver Age event, before the discovery of the Speed Force, but even back then the "Flash Family" had him far outstripped.

PS: The title made me think of the old running request for the Fantastic Four vs. the Fatal Five. Maybe they could have a "Philly Fracas," featuring Fin Fang Foom.

Bob, The Fantastic Four battled the Fatal Five in STF #1596.

Then, how about Fin Fang Foom versus the Fantastic Four and FemForce?

...featuring Fireman Fred Farrell?

How about Fire Marshal Bill.

I would love to see the Original X-men vs. the Brotherhood of Evil - Beast vs. Monsieur Mallah, Xavier vs. the Brain, Jean Gray Vs Phobia - the possibilities are endless! (well not literally...)
