Now that I think about it, Aquaman might fare better in space than a lot of heroes. His body can withstand the intense cold and pressure of the deep oceans after all. Still, he would have an uphill battle against Annihilus, who is quite at home on an outer space environment. It would be an interesting battle.
I am happy to use an image of Annihilus here by John Buscema, a man who taught so many of us how to draw comics the Marvel way... Here's a Conan page by him I was lucky enough to pick up several years ago:

Another great cover worth paying to read. I might be alone but I can see Aquaman taking this fight.
You're not just whistling Dixie about Mr. Buscema's artwork, Ross. That one page, alone, builds up more suspense and thirst for action than twenty melodramatic threats from Annihilus!
@March Hare Supreme: only if Aquaman's telepathy can reach a relatively nearby Acanthi. Or even Triton the Inhuman! And that's assuming the Rossverse equivalent of Attilan is still based in the Blue Area of the Moon...concurrent with the Justice League still having had an orbital headquarters 22,300 miles above Earth-STF.

The Submariner battled in space wearing just a space helmet and his costume in an early FF story.
Where did you get an Aquaman in an Adam Strange setting? If his helmet was filled with water could he still run out of air? At least his suit was pressurized. Annihilus can't be that tough if he needs those shoulder pads.
@MHS: I can see Aquaman winning this as well, not so much because of his power set as because of his ingenuity. My recollection (mostly from the 70s and 80s) is that he's one of the League's better out-of-box thinkers.
@HHH: I'm pretty sure the pauldrons are just for show.

So did my own half-Atlantean character 'Triphibian' in a Champions RP campaign back around 1980... and I remember actually using a line about withstanding the cold & pressure of the deeps -- which the GM accepted -- to justify this.
His regular costume was very similar to the one that Reed Richards made for Namor at one stage, with the material between underarms & sides, but in the Triphibian's case instead of those flaps being to extract oxygen from the water (as for Namor) they were for gliding after he'd used his strength to "superleap" up into the air. (The GM had agreed that he could develop actual flying ability -- possibly even with tiny wings sprouting from his ankles -- later on, but unfortunately the campaign didn't continue for long enough...)
One pair of green speedos hardly constitutes a costume. And, while their hybrid physiologies might protect them slightly longer than a normal human astronaut wearing just a space helmet and oxygen tank (rather than a complete space suit), Namor and Aquaman would _inevitably_ still succumb to the complete vacuum of outer space. After all, even Atlanteans are still just Earthlings.
