I'll be checking out Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings when it hits Disney+ later this month. I am looking forward to it after it had such a positive reception. I waited for Black Widow and didn't feel like I missed much - other than the introduction of Yelena, it's pretty filler and skippable for a Marvel Movie. The early reviews for Eternals do not fill me with confidence, and despite an Oscar I thought Nomadland was deadly dull, so I'll be waiting on that one too. I think the next movie to actually get me to a theater will be Spider-Man: No Way Home - if the studio ever stops delaying it!

That's a cool cover.
Yeah but you could have used the ghostly trio there.
8( No Steve Rogers, Tony Stark or real Avengers. Watch Disney squirm trying to figure
out the new box office billion dollar formula.
Great cover, Ross! I'm curious, though. Are those Dire Wraiths from Shang-Chi's two-part team up with Rom back in the mid-Eighties?
P.S.--You bring up interesting points. Here are my counterpoints in the order you expressed them:
1) I'm sure there are a lot of overgrown fanboys (real-life Sheldons and Leonards) who don't mind the cinematic version of Black Widow Yelena being a filler. Especially, a cat-suit filler (rowr-rowr)!
2) I don't read reviews prior to seeing big epics for myself. So, I will deliberately keep myself ignorant about "Eternals: The Movie" until, at least, this Saturday afternoon.
3) I can imagine why you might be disappointed in "Nomadland." That is; if you erroneously thought it was going to be about Jack "Nomad" Monroe.
As we you used to say in the prehistoric 1960's: "Far out, dude!"
So, here's a suggestion even farther out; Black Widow Natasha teaming up with Code:Red to rescue Alfred E. Neumann from Chucky (of CHILD'S PLAY fame).
I saw the movie on opening day, and I'm still going to rewatch it after it's available on Disney+. It's a great movie, and has a number of details that make one wonder. I'm especially going to listen closely to the dialogue in the mid-credits scene.
I also saw Eternals last night, and I can tell you that the tepid and negative reviews are quite unfair. Some of the time-jumps to flashbacks are a little confusing, as there usually are no visual cues going into or out of them, but that's about the worst I could say. I was especially pleased with Gemma Chan, who had a lot more than I'd expected, and surprised by Angelina Jolie, whom I've enjoyed in the past but never like this. And the post-credits scene is quite worth paying close attention to.
For the future, I think it'd be interesting to see Doctor Strange dealing with the Demons Three (especially around the time of next year's movie release).
@Ross: as long as you're taking requests? How about Star-Wars-meets-Land-of-the-Giants? With Luke Skywalker rescuing Val and Betty from a giant baseball in "The Umpire Strikes Back!"
An interesting combination.
Shang-Chi really should meet Damien Wayne, sometime: They have so much in common... :D
Damien has ten rings of Eternal Power?
@Anon820: nope! Just Shang-Chi.
P.S. @ Ross: you're right to be under-confident. I saw THE ETERNALS this past Sunday. I literally fell asleep through part of it! Not a good sign in any movie-goer's book.
@Carycomic: thanks! You just saved me $5.95 in "bargain" matinee fees.
