Space Ghost Vs. Doctor Doom

I featured this match up as one of the back up tales in STF #3100, but I felt that it was strong enough to deserve an issue all by itself.  Actually, this scene looks to be taking place merely moments after the one depicted on that cover.  Consider this an expanded version of that classic tale!

Coming tomorrow: STF #3500!

I'd be willing to concede that the back-up tale in #3100 was part one, and part two is simply a novel-length conclusion. Although, I have to confess to being slightly disappointed you couldn't insert some kind of "Council of Doom" pun in here, someplace. ;-)

YAHOOOO!!!The 1960s Space Ghost is one of my favorites. Wasn't thrilled with DC's version of his origin but at least his home world didn't blow up nor were his parents killed. One of my favorite covers is Space Ghost with Moon Knight at night. Erie in the best way.

(On an unrelated note- Did anyone put Asgard to music? "Somewhere Over the Rainbow....")

On an even more unrelated note: aren't Indiana Jones and Captain America overdue for a reunion adventure? After all; they haven't worked together since STF #95!

Actually, since it's been such a long time,* I'd prefer to consider this a rematch, though an actual publisher could say that this is an expanded retelling. But on the whole, I can't think of anything nice to say about this cover -- simply because there's too much. Nothing specific stands out; it's just generally awesome.

*For a monthly comic, 33 years and 3 months; if weekly, 7 years and 8 months. These would be appropriate times for a retelling or a rematch, respectively. If this was being done as an actual comic, I'd want it to be biweekly, which would make it 15 years and 4 months, which could go either way.

Bobby g you forget after so many years and writers, the universe gets a reboot. This would go as Their first meeting (this time round).
Ross if Vic didn't remove S G's cuffs first, he ought to lose his degree. Prof Doom?
May your fans always be multiplying Ross.

I wonder if Blip (on inviso-power) helped Space Ghost regain his power bands?

HHH: That's mainly at DC. At Marvel and elsewhere, somewhat less so.
