James Gunn has a way with inhuman characters with limited vocabularies. Just as he did with Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, he managed to make King Shark a fan favorite character in The Suicide Squad. He managed to make a creature that eats men whole kind of sympathetic! The rest of the cast is as well envisioned and the movie is certainly worth a watch, even if (like me) you aren't a big fan of the more violent moments and not all of the comedy lands. The visuals, great character work and performances (including the best Harley Quinn scene to date) make it a fun, crazy romp.
Thank you to Marc Tyler Nobleman, comics' historian and Patron of this Blog, for suggesting this match up!

Wooden it be nice if we were together and not being given the bird. Let's go to the beach.
Hilarious!
Wackiness ensues!
My grand-daughter has discovered Groot and Rocket and loves watching them in Guardians of the Galaxy!
What a great match-up!
I know one Inhuman character even James Gunn couldn't do a voice-over for: Blackbolt!
;-D
Re: "Suicide Squad 2." It's grudgingly tolerable to sit through, once. But, I wouldn't recommend wasting money on it, twice!
P.S.--- "Pecking Order" (lol). That's a good one.
Hahahahaha! Hahahahaha!
Love it! This is one of those covers that makes me kinda mad I didn't think of it! :D
I was just thinking yesterday that it'd been too long since we got one of these wacky pairings. Now, today, you give us one of the best in a long time!
What's next -- Hellboy with Shrek's friend Puss in Boots?
As to The Suicide Squad, I'll probably be interested in seeing it once Amber Heard is booted from the DCEU. (I don't see any sense in giving money to a company that enables a violent domestic abuser.)
I'm curious which Harley scene you mean?
Her escape when we see her POV of the world.
Ohhhhh! I thought you meant the love scene with the Don Juan Peron of Corto Maltese.
