Man-Bat Vs. The Vulture

The Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser has dropped, and in it we see subtle and not-so-subtle teases for Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Sandman and The Lizard.  That still leaves one more space on the roster to complete a full Sinister Six team.  Will Michael Keaton's Vulture return?  We know he will show up in Morbius, but could he appear here as well?  I think that Mysterio is more likely - if anyone could fake his death, it's him, and something or someone definitely seems to be influencing Doctor Strange.  Hopefully some more light will be shed when a full trailer is released.

Well, Horsefeathers? You asked Ross to try and do better than "Mars Attacks the Creature Commandos in the Savage Land." I think this is Step 1 towards that.

Eventually culminating (I hope) with the Vulture and the rest of the Sinister Six attacking the Creature Commandos (led by Man-Bat) on Dinosaur Island!

Well, to paraphrase Steven Dorff (from "The Power of One"):

"When one raindrop of suggestion combines, with many others, you get a waterfall of commandment."

To that end I opened the hose and aimed it skyward. It came back with an image in the pale moonlight of Mars Attacks the House of Mystery. Care to bet on who survives best?

There was no tease of Doc Ock in the trailer; that was a personal appearance! I'm more to the other end for Sandman and the Lizard; Sandman's a big maybe, and I really didn't see anything for the Lizard (nor heard anything other than vague rumors).

On the other hand, both the Vulture and the Scorpion were pretty well set up in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and there have been statements from Sony implying that the Sinister Six is being held for the fourth Spider-Man movie, so I think that in this film Peter is just dealing with the chaos of having mucked up the universe.

As for something "influencing" Dr. Strange, he's mostly just riding high after having just helping to defeat Thanos and save half the universe, and so is moving forward with his old sense of undefeatable hubris.

Beyond all that, I agree with Jack: Great cover! A winged-humanoid aerial battle over New York would be quite a sight to see, whether in the comic pages or as a resident of the world's Big Apple.

@Horsefeathers: Funny thing, the only thing I see in the pale moonlight is the Joker and Mephisto, dancing.

There's a quick shot of someone taking a swipe at Spidey from the shadows. When slowed down and lit up it does indeed look like The Lizard. Hope they give him a snout this time around!

@Horsefeathers: I think I'm "Abel" to guess.
