Since the Squadron Supreme is inspired by the Justice League of America, it would be interesting to see them interact with the heroes responsible for inspiring that team. You have to wonder how long it will be before Kevin Feige decides to introduce the Squadron in the MCU. I can imagine Warner Bros wincing if they get their own feature before another JLA movie is put together!

I could see a Disney+ Squadron Supreme animated Series... or maybe a debut on "What If...?" before a live action adaptation. Me, I've always seen Squadron Supreme as a Crime Syndicate team. Almost like a Mirror Universe group...
You're being way too kind to WB, Ross. If the Squadron was made into a movie (based on the original 1960s JLA style ) and succeeded better than either Justice League movie versionthen maybe Someone there might ask "Why?". "Superman" and "Batman" working together and getting along? What an alien concept.
I remember the year-long mini-series where the Squadron Supreme became like a foreshadowing of Superman's coalition in the video game "Injustice:Gods Among Us."
It was mentioned, in passing, how their WWII-era predecessors had been referred to as "The Golden Agency!" With the sole surviving veteran of the latter now known as Professor Imam.*
*Think Dr. Fate with a blindfold...instead of a sentient helmet.
The way things have been going, I don't think it's at all unlikely that the Squadron Supreme will at least appear in a movie (and as more than a cameo) before a second Justice League movie is even announced.
I suspect there could be legal problems with using any reasonably accurate version of the Squadron in the movies. Warner Brothers' lawyers might be willing to look the other way when it comes to comics, but for something with real money in the mix, I'm not so sure...
@Alaric: Throw in enough Easter eggs and tongue-in-cheek humor, and it counts as a "parody," which is explicitly permitted under Copyright law. (It might even count as that without those features.)
Heck, there will probably be a Stargirl/Justice SOCIETY movie before there is another JLA one.
@Bob: That wouldn't stop the WB lawyers from trying to shut it down, though. And exactly what counts as a "parody" isn't always clear. Regardless of whether it ended up working, there would almost certainly be a legal battle.
Especially if Arcanna was depicted wearing a top hat into battle. ;-)
Love the Squadron. And, like Air Dave, I'm a fan of the Crime Syndicate too. It'd be cool to see both groups again...
Speaking of hats: is that the astrally projected head of a Skeksis (to the upper right of Golden Age Flash's helmet) spying on this historic first meeting?
