As for CCBB? Just picture her as a steampunk Transformer. Possibly even a contemporary of the one that was found frozen in the 19th century Arctic by Shia Witwicky's great-grandfather (in the first movie)!

It's implied in the movie that Chitty has some basic awareness, as it follows Bomburst's zeppelin after the kidnapping.
It strikes me that the Batmobile has enough onboard computing power to make it vulnerable to a hack from, perhaps K.A.R.R.
I don't recall how it was in the original CCBB book (yes, I did read it once or twice), but Badger58 is correct about the movie.
Composition-wise, this is actually one of your better team-debut covers, Ross. Sure, the artistic styles don't necessarily match up, but I've seen pages of panels with Superman interacting with Woozy Winks, so that's not that big of a deal. The only one that doesn't seem to fit the picture is Chitty, and that's just a matter of angles (from the Department of Whatcha Gonna Do).
I hope you can find an occasion to bring these guys back someday, perhaps facing the Constructicons or palling up with (the original) Robo-Force, or engaged in a race down Danny the Street. Or could K.A.R.R. and (Stephen King's) Christine start recruiting a team of their own?

Don't forget, in Spider-Verse, the Siper-Mobile was sentient! It even stuttered, a la Speed Buggy.

I wonder if motorcycles are included? For example since someone mentioned Wonderbug, but what about Wonder Wheels from the Skatebirds?
Speaking of sentient car crimefighters, I haven't heard anything new about since the announcement but there are/were plans for a show featuring the various Bat vehicles, led of course by the Batmobile, going off to fight crime Krypto The Superdog/Legion of Superpets style.

I don't know if we need to add Wheelie, but the Chopper Bunch might make for a good villain team to battle.
In the books _ I don't remember whether the film followed this -- CCBB's number plates were something along the lines of GEN 1E', implying that it might have a non-technological cause of sapience.
That's almost like an "Arabian Nights" fantasy, in itself, there.
