With his long comics history and large following, I am surprised there has never been an animated movie or series featuring Judge Dredd. I think there may be some animated fan efforts out there, but I haven't seen anything official. It is definitely a property that would lend itself well to the form.

If you're going to Micro-City, use The Microforce! I Dredd the idea of Ray not having his back covered.
Up until this morning, I sincerely thought there really had been a syndicated cartoon series about Judge Dredd, spun off of Stallone's depiction, back in the late Nineties. But, a little more web-surfing has shown me that I was (GASP!!!) wrong.
I was actually thinking of the syndicated cartoon spin-off of the "Rambo" movies.
That being said, how about Judge Dredd vs. Darth Vader or Boba Fett?
That way, you could (tentatively) entitle it..."Imperial Judgement!"
Oooh! Oooh! My thought-bunnies are reproducing, already.
Today's cover could be used as part one with a STAR WARS tie-in for part two. One guest-starring Superman and Luke Skywalker as the Atom tells the Judge:
"Mega City One was shrunken by...the Kandorian Plague!"
Shrink Dredd down. That way he could judge the fine print. How about Dredd going after Galactus? Or the Impossible Man?
In the immortal words of Sir Robert Greenwade: "Unlikely. But, not impossible."
@Tobor: I'd almost forgotten about the Micro-Force. I'd love to see another cover with them.
@Cary: I'd forgotten about the Rambo cartoon. I suppose Ross (or maybe Paganini) could do a Stallone tribute cover with Rambo, Dredd, Starhawk, King Shark, and... oh, looking through the Judge Dredd tags, I see he's already encountered Demolition Man! I think we have the makings of a team!
...Though I'm sure they'd get off to a "rocky" start. #BadPunNoCookie
@Horsefeathers: How about Dredd vs. Ambush Bug? I'd pay full price to see that!
@Anon@9:58: The correct punctuation would be "unlikely, but not impossible." #GrammarNazi #PickyPickyPicky
PS: Or, let Dredd travel back in time to recruit Mr. Flintstone in: "Judge Fredd!"
@BG: you missed a period (in your postscript after the hashtags).
@Anon@1:50: Where?
It should be " #GrammarNazi.PickyPickyPicky. "
;-D
@Bob & Anon: *Sigh!* Where's Victor Borge when we need him, most?
@Anon@8:37: Periods are not put at the end of hashtags.
@Cary: Wait, what? Phonetic punctuation! Well... though the man did often say, "It's your language; I'm just using it," he did have a clever idea.
@Bob: then, it's time to start a new period.
;-D
sorry. That period is over. It's a new age. By the by, there is a new Fantasy Island series on fox. Ms Roake is the hostess of the Island.
She's a Great Niece of the original. How many remade series now?
I watched the first episode, and for me it's very well worth the time, and true to the spirit of the original. I'm going to keep on.
@Stripes, Dots, and Bob: Sorry! I'm still too disappointed by the Malcolm McDowell version and the more recent feature-length "prequel" starring the guy who played the clumsy FBI agent in THE SHOOTER.
So, I'm not even going to "deplane."
@Stripes n' Shadows: time, being circular, we have returned to the previous period.
