Aliens Vs. The Phantom Stranger

It will be interesting to see what becomes of the Alien and Predator franchises now that they have been acquired by Disney.  I've read that they are interested in creating new streaming series for each.  Can such show work on Disney+, or would they have to be too watered down?  Maybe they'll go to the Disney-owned Hulu instead?

Also makes for a good cowboy cover where the hero is getting an arrow thru the chest.

Can't Wait till Disney buys The Farm

The only way I see the Phantom Stranger being successfully impaled by a xenomorphic stinger is if the "xenomorph" in question is actually a N'garai! Which could become possible now that 20th Century Fox is owned by Marvel/Disney. In the decades prior to that merger, the illustrative look of the N'garai (not to mention The Brood) in the X-men comics was simply a tribute to H.R. Giger.

I've heard reports that, in order to show the Deadpool, Alien, Predator, and other R-rated films, Disney+ is exploring a new, separate section of Disney+ that requires special access (password, parental control, etc.). I don't get the impression that said section will cost extra.

As for today's story, I get the feeling that the Phantom Stranger is going to need a bit of help from some Justice Leaguers; I'd pick Superman, Batman, and Zatanna.

I love your works but this one got an "Oh, shit" out of me (in a good way of course). I truly, thoroughly, completely hate that this will never become a real thing.

Disney+ already has an R-rated, parental control section called "Star" in its non-US platforms and the press releases when it came out said that content would go to Hulu in the US for now. I doubt it will bring Star into Disney+ as long as the Mouse is pushing the D+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle.

@Jay: Thanks for the reminder about that; it was on the edge of my memory, but I couldn't quite get to it. Yes, Hulu is another option for R-rated stuff; the last I heard (a couple of weeks ago), Disney was sounding about 50-50 between using Star or Hulu.

An Aliens series for FX has been announced. The next Predator movie goes back in time and will deal with Native Americans fighting them.
