I was hoping that the DC Fandome event would shed some more light on the future of Superman in the movies. There was some speculation that an announcement of The Man of Steel's involvement in Black Adam or even a solo sequel would be made, but alas no mention of such things. DC Fandome continues this coming weekend, though It looks to be focusing more on the TV, print and gaming aspects of DC Comics. Henry Cavill keeps teasing that he id not done with the role, but I'd like to know some more specifics as to what that will mean.

Clever. Like the Kandor aspect to the story. Be nice to see tiny heroes like Ant-Man get inside that bottle...
My guess is that the future of Cavill-as-Superman (I'm lukewarm - he makes a passable Man of Steel) depends on the reception of the Snyder Cut.
Half the X-Men. None of the original Defenders. Kandor? A mystic - science threat might be involved. Something affecting who they are & their souls?
Ross, how much of a plot/ story do you work out for yourself with each cover?
I just come up with concepts, I'll leave the full stories to your imaginations.
You got a party going on with all these people already? None of these are detective heroes that Superman could have recruited for a regular crime problem.
Even with Kandor's advanced sciences they might not have had much experience with mutant births. McCoy might be the only one directly useful. The rest "may" be a help in dealing with questions about souls. Great Rao what a possibility.
@Ross: maybe Fandome's organizers were trying to prevent Internet spoilers. Understandable, if so. Way too many of them, these days. Even before anything gets to the DVD shelves!
@HF & DT: given how the Defenders spent half their time battling mystical menaces, I'd hazard to guess...a Juru invasion of Kandor.
@AirDave: BTW, in real life, are superheroics necessarily supposed to be fun?
When "Saved by the Bell"(2020) is finally scheduled, maybe one could, in marketing it, paraphrase the quote(?) on Burgerbecky's "Sailor Ranko", "Can you say no to a cutie-pie fake girl"?
Dame Diana Rigg passed 9/10/20 at 82 due to cancer. The passing of the inspiration for making Diana Prince into a non super back in the 1970s has capped 2020 as a truly ROTTEN year. Mrs. Peel, you're needed more than ever!

It's ironic, when you think about it. John Steed's first female partner, played by Honor Blackman, left the series to co-star in the 3rd Bond flick, "Goldfinger." So Dame Diana steps in to take over. Almost ten years later, she leaves the series to co-star with 007 one-shot, Goerge Lazenby, in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." And Linda Thorson steps in as Agent Tara King!
One wonders if Ms. Thorson will take over Judy Dench's role as M in the next Bond sequel?*
*Personally? The way they keep rebooting that franchise, I wouldn't be surprised.

@Cary: I'm only aware of Bond being actually "rebooted" once, with Casino Royale. At that, it can really be considered almost a "how it all started" prequel as much as a reboot.
That said, I wonder if anyone's ever tried to put the films in order by the actors' ages. (I'd go with "as of the first day of filming" if precision is needed.)
@Bob: the franchise certainly had better continuity with the Connery-era films, pre-Brosnan.
So, in that sense, the first reboot was with the Brosnan 007's followed by the first two Craig 007's.
That this cover works so incredibly well is a testament to the strength of these concepts and Ross's talent.
