OMAC and The X-Men

One of the great things about Batman: The Brave and the Bold was that it included so many characters from every corner of the DC Universe, many that had never been seen in other media before.  OMAC was one such case, and his appearance was cool and fun.  I'd love to see an animated DC Kirbyverse series, with rotating features like OMAC, Kamandi, Mister Miracle and more.

What a beautiful sight, The 5 & their professor. Seamless. As to OMAC, brother Eye has had quite a work out over all these years. So many times used and so much terror from it.

Agree with @Detective - seamless. I always loved Kirby. And I have great fondness for his original X-Men. I was only vaguely aware of OMAC - but here he looks totally a part of what's going on in your mashed up universe.
I say yours, Ross. Actually, it's got me envisaging a subset of your SuperTeamverse where only Kirbyverse characters interact. Now that would be mind-blowing!

This is one of your most seamless covers yet, Ross, and not just because it's Kirby + Kirby. The selected poses for OMAC and the Professor mesh just right -- it looks like something that the King himself would've drawn, as he would've drawn it.

Dave proposed an interesting thought there: an all-Kirby multi-part epic! It could culminate in these original X-Men fighting Darkseid (maybe they've done so before, but I don't care; those are the most iconic Kirby characters from each side).

I only ever got to catch a handful of episodes of B:B&B, though I appreciated how the teasers were sometimes of a lighter mood than the main body of the episode. The pairing with Mister Miracle was one such episode; Blue Beetle was another (bantering with Ted Kord in the opening, with the main story taking place with Jaime Reyes after Ted's death). This reflected a Batman the way I like him best: capable of a lighthearted attitude with his friends, but appropriately dark and serious when facing down villains.

From the man who brought you the Emerald Elite and the Power Couple comes... "OMAC! The Omni-Mutant Army Corps."

Rated PG-13*

*That's probably what Hollywood would change the name to, if they adapted such a story for a live-action feature film.

But really, the text is too sedate. In the true spirit of Kirby, it has to be, "In the war! That's COMING!"

@RavenLunatic: what I'd like to see come is another appearance by Task Force T.* Preferably vs. Rath of the Demons Three!
