I liked that the Milestone Characters crossed over into the DC Universe for a number of years, it was cool to see team ups like Static and Black Lightning. Also cool was that Static also crossed over into the DCU in the animated world. Static Shock was a great cartoon already, then they had appearances by Batman, the Justice League and more. Static even showed up in Justice League Unlimited and later Young Justice. For a crossover fan like me, it was great to see those kinds of connections.
These two first tangled in STF #2314...

It might be interesting if he were to meet the new Lighting Lad.
One interesting moment (on JLU, I think) was when Static and John Stewart had a little conversation. Both characters were voiced by Phil LaMarr (also of Samurai Jack fame, among other things).
It might even be fun to see John Stewart and Samurai Jack together around here some time.
Introducing The Super-Amazing Friends. Spider-Man, Static Shock, members of Titans, etc. Tomorrow's Legion of Super Heroes today.
You have used Hardware and Static Shock. How about reusing Justice League of America #28 cover using some other characters vs Mile Stone characters?
Sorry, Ross. But, there's no better way to describe today's cover except to say it's...
...positively electrifying! :-)
Interesting but the hat on Static makes it looks like he wearing an ugly mask I'd you don't look close.
...going back to the Legion, if this version doesn't get all the new readers DC is looking for, I wonder how long it will last. The "old" newer readers that saw the Legion cartoons might feel confused by the new appearances.
They can get hundreds of millions at the box office, but can't increase comic readership. yea team.
Can we see The Shadow meeting the Scooby gang? I'd like to see them going to pull the hat and scarf off the Shadow only to have their hands go thru his image.
@Fisher: Who knows if such a team-up will occur on this website?
The moderator knows. BWA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
The Shadow? I'm still hoping Ross will bless me with the Shadow and She-Ra team-up I suggested last month. (Hm... maybe I should post that photo I got at Rose City Comic Con!)
@det_Tobor: At this point, probably the only way to increase comic readership, as the boomers start dying off, is to put the comics up on youTube.
@Jay: No flipping picture comics, no foil covers, no 3-D image comics.
Maybe a coupon discount for a movie ticket in every book?
@Fisher: Wouldn't that be more for an end page?
@Jay: Blasphemy, Mr. Jphnson. Blasphemy!
;-D
