Green Lantern Corps and Guardians of the Galaxy

Continuing from Part One and Part Two of our story, we reach the epic conclusion!

I wonder what Rocket Racoon's relationship will be like with the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy when the third movie arrives.  Did his time without them in the five years that they were snapped out of existence change him at all?  Certainly it must have made him appreciate them more.  What was he up to the whole time?  I hope to see some of this addressed and it's not just a reset to what has gone before.

I don't think I recognize the Chief Bad Guy. He looks like a cross between Eclipso and Klaw...magically amalgamated by one of the Power Rangers' enemies! But, given the hope for him as an antagonist in the next Avengers flick, I'll say it's Kang the Conqueror.

This was well worth the wait, Ross! But, after such an epic trilogy, you'll need a comic relief interlude, in order to regather your strength. So, might I humbly suggest The Joker vs. Lamont Cranston's favorite alter-ego? You could entitle it...

"The Shadow Of His Smile!"

P.S. @ Anon: That's not Kang. It's the android known as the Highmaster of the Manhunters.

I don't think it'll be "business as usual" for Rocket and the other Guardians. The after-effects of the "Blip" will continue to be felt for quite some time. A few aspects of this were addressed in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and it's pretty easy to see how WandaVision and Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness will be affected as well. During that five-year period, Rocket and Nebula were patrolling around for trouble spots, and of course they both missed their fellow Guardians. (They apparently spoke of them enough that Rhodey already knew that Quill was an idiot!)

Here's something only tangentially related to this cover that just occurred to me: Alan Scott and Monica Rambeau both carry legacy names without the connection shared by others with the same name (Oa for Green Lanterns and Kree for Captains Marvel). I think it might be interesting to address this somehow.

Fun cover. But I'd pass on this story. Not much a fan of this Starlord.

I've got it!

Animaniacs is supposed to get a reboot on Hulu next year, so... how about Pinky & the Brain versus Thanos, in a battle over the Infinity Gauntlet?

Brilliant! That's almost as delightfully bizarre as Darkseid vs. Archie-as-Pureheart the Powerful. LOL!

@Carycomic: lol! "Shadow of His Smile." Good one!

And I second your motion. That's one team-up Ross has _genuinely_ never done!!
