Cherry Poptart and The Watcher
It was a pleasant surprise to see The Watchers make an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, because I had thought they were off limits due to being caught up in the rights to Fantastic Four related characters. Apparently some kind of deal was worked out and they were allowed to be used.

On the one hand-- Laugh-out-loud hilarious cover.
On the other hand, I'm not sure Cherry wouldn't be more likely to open that towel and smile about it.
I don't often comment, but do enjoy the covers every day.
Thanks, AMW - I usually try to keep the blog family friendly, but I couldn't resist with this one.
A perfect title for this one (in partial tribute to Isaac Asimov) would be "Fantastic Voyeur." LOL!
Excellent combination.
Very unexpected, but friggin' hilarious!!!
I never knew Cherry had a last name -- thanks for getting my 'learn something new every day' box checked off early today!
I remember owning the full collection of Cherry Poptart and enjoyed the Archie Comics adult parody, but why does the Watcher always look so intense?
@Jay Johnson: She only had the last name "Poptart" for, like, two issues. Allegedly, Kellogg's took exception to the name (go figure), so the book became just "Cherry" from then on.
Cherry would open far more than her towel!
Hilarious! A wonderful cover. I still have a few "Cherry" comix around here somewhere . . .
I laughed out loud at this one.
in... "Voyeur Eyes Only!"
voyeur or not to voyeur.....that's the question....lol
"Now, Voyeur" (with CPT as Bette Davis).
Funny! Just plain funny! Salute!
Rip Off
Reminds me of the Kurt Busiek/George Perez Avengers/JLA team-up.
Green Arrow: Is it just me, or is Mr. Peepers here bothering the cheese out of anyone else?
Captain Adam: Not just you Green Arrow...
Firestorm: I gotta use the bathroom but if he sees through walls...
This blog will never have covers like #2 and #3 of that series ... BUT SHOULD HAVE!
Maybe you could team up Sailor Moon (a chick) and Pokemon.
Maybe also a cover involving Pokemon, Lego Friends, and Equestria Girls.
Also one featuring Equestria Girls and the Orion women of Star Trek.
Or Mystery Inc. meet the Scoobies of Sunnydale?
Dirty old Watcher man! lol
Jajaj
it’s worrying that he never stops watching the fantastic four, poor Susan.. bad enough that Namor still has the hots for her now we know why the watchers watching, as for Cherry she would love an audience…
