Darth Vader Vs. Wolverine
I finally watched Logan last night, and the reviews that said it was basically a western with a few mutant abilities thrown in were right. I was a little puzzled about the inclusion of Professor X, he didn't really seem to do much in the film other than calm a few horses down. Also, I'm wondering if I can enjoy any more X-Men films, now that I know pretty much all mutants will be destroyed in a few years anyway.

"Logan, I am your father."
At least if Vader takes a hand, it'll grow back in short order.
Hopefully, with the upcoming New Mutants film, either something will happen to fix the problem, or 20th Century Fox will decide to let the franchise go to Marvel Studios so the X-Men can be rebooted and integrated into the rest of the MCU.
This is the second movie/comic crossover you've done this week. It's a nice change.
"Ferget it bub."
OMG. Picture Wolverine with lightsaber claws?
Somewhere in a bunker below Disneyland, there's a white board labelled Marvel Studios Phase 4 & 5:
1) Buy out Fox
2) House of M -- Scarlet Witch goes crazy and wipes out all the franchises. New films for female Wolverine, Thor, & Iron Man and both Falcon & Hydra Caps.
3) Secret Wars -- Full crossover with whoever is under contract. Cameos (by CGI if necessary) by everybody who used to be under contract, especially Old Man Logan, Prof X, Stark, and Rogers.
All films have opening narration by Stan Lee as the Watcher.
I loved the movie myself. The inclusion of Prof.X was meant to help kinda' explain what happened to the other X-Men, which was wasn't directly answered, but was implied that Xavier himself did it when he had one of his episodes.
It gave Logan a purpose other than being an uber driver, and ultimately kept him from committing suicide.
I wouldn't worry about this remaining canon for long, since you just know after this, FOX is just going to reboot the franchise anyways.
Finally, that is truly a very smooth photoshop job with that cover man. Impressive....very impressive.
The feeling I got, from watching LOGAN, is that Professor X-as-an-invalid-novagenarian was supposed to be like the belovedly crusty old-timer-serving-as-mentor figure. Sort of like George "Gabby" Hayes (only sans the comedy relief)!
"Embrace the power of the Dark Side...and be the best there is at what_ I _do!"
Nay to House of M. That along with Avengers Disassembled derailed Scarlet Witch's characterisation.
They're not rebooting the franchise. Technically, they did as in the end of DOFP created a new timeline.
@Jay Johnson: is it next door to the infamous cryo-tube?
Major shout out to Super Team family. They’re killing it with these covers. Absolutely amazing 🤩
@Jammerson: well said. :-)
