Much though I admire Ted Grant's record, I fear that -- unless he's been given some additional advantage here -- this arm-wrestling match would be even more one-side than the [DC canon] match between Atom-Smasher and Black Adam.
H'mm, Ted has been close to Queen Hippolyte of the Amazons, and her memories of past "conquest" by [a] DC version of Hercules are not happy ones...
Oops! That should have said "some very good additional advantage".

Blaine voiced my thought exactly. I can't even tell that the two heroes were drawn on separate occasions, let alone by separate artists!
I'm a big Wildcat fan, but I find it hard to believe that he could out arm wrestle the Prince of Power under any circumstances. I find it even harder to believe that Wildcat could EVER out drink Hercules! Darts? I'm okay with that....
I notice that Ted seems to destroy any Marvel characters he shares a cover with.
Heh - well, I have said that Bob Haney was the patron saint of this blog... and like Haney, I really love using Wildcat.

With all due respect to BH? Wildcat amped up by Miraclo would be the _only_ way he could _ever_ out-do Herc at arm wrestling.
